Life in a Border Town Sunday, November 15, 2009
Life in a Border Town, is comprised of 50 color photographs taken by fifth grade students at Felipe Carillo Puerto School in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Local artists David M. Freeman and Jonathan Searfoss provided cameras to the students with instructions to document their daily lives. The resulting images provide an intimate glimpse into life in a city often known only by its headlines.
