Reliving the Golden Age of Mexican Cinema Film Series presents: Angelitos Negros. Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012, at 2 p.m.

The Museum of South Texas History continues its Reliving the Golden Age of Mexican Film Series with a showing of Angelitos Negros on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012, at 2 p.m. The film will be presented by McAllen native and screenwriter Álvaro Rodriguez. The incomparable Pedro Infante stars in this highly popular melodrama about race and relationships. The film series complements MOSTHistory’s temporary exhibit, La Época de Oro: The Golden Age of Mexican Cinema in the Rio Grande Valley, open through September 2012. Visitors are invited to view an original Angelitos Negros film poster that is currently on display in the exhibit located in the Upper Old Jail Gallery.
