Hurricane Hanna Memories

When Hurricane Hanna hit South Texas and northeastern Mexico on July 25, the effect was felt by all. With flooding, fallen trees, power outages and other damages; some are still trying to recover. We are asking you to share your experience with the museum.

Uprooted tree

Kelly Francis-Love, the museum’s archivist, took a photo of an uprooted tree in north McAllen.

Kelly Francis-Love noticed many traffic lights were gone after Hurricane Hanna made landfall.
